Cheryl and russel are amazing host and the breakfast in the morning is so good ! The property is spot on to the pictures or even a bit more spacious in person , they have 2 dogs that are super friendly and the house is spotless and clean we especially loved watching a movie on the foxtel by the fire drink port and eating chocolates Cheryl left us ! Cheryl is also a great help with local area suggestions

My wife and I had a very relaxing, wonderful long weekend. Cheryl was an absolutely wonderful host and couldn't do enough for us.
The breakfast is to die for.

Girls weekend away - and we could not rate our stay and our host, Cheryl, highly enough. From the moment we arrived we felt truly spoilt and Cheryl went out of her way to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay, particularly with my friend being pregnant. Cheryl is knowledgeable of the area and gave us some great local recommendations for walks and eateries. If you're looking for a relaxing weekend away, definitely consider staying here. Our only regret is that we didn't stay a third night. Will definitely be back in the future!

What a wonderful find, Raintree is a beautiful property with so much to offer. We had a lovely long weekend here recently, our host Cheryl was welcoming and friendly, full of local knowledge and interesting stories. Only a short drive from Berry, set in bushland high in the hills overlooking the township and river views. Accommodation was outstanding, the whole place was tastefully decorated and the log fire was welcoming on a cold day. It was impeccably clean and tidy, with some lovely touches such as lush bathroom robes, included devonshire tea (which was to die for, absolutely tasty), a lovely breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. The addition of Duke and Forrest, Cheryl's 2 cattle dogs were an added joy, very friendly and always ready for a tummy rub! Highly recommended and we'll certainly be back for another visit.

Just wanted to say a big thank you for all your hospitality on the fantastic weekend we spent at your Raintree BnB! It was so relaxing… enjoying the breakfasts, the scones, the warmth from the fire.
We look forward to coming back in the summer and enjoying sitting outside on the terrace looking at the trees and the birds!
Thanks again and a big hello to our four legged friends!

My second stay in as many months - a little getaway with my mum. As good as the first time. Just superb. Thanks Cheryl and Russell for the warm and welcoming stay :)

What a serene property! Nestled in rainforest, we enjoyed the warmth of the fire, and were totally spoilt with port, chocolates and the most delicious homemade scones. Couldn’t recommend highly enough for a relaxing, undisturbed and restful getaway!

Raintree is an absolutely beautiful retreat and we had a wonderful stay. Cheryl and Russell are lovely and very welcoming. The accommodation was very clean and beautifully appointed and the food was delicious! We highly recommend and intend to go again ourselves in the very near future.

Luxurious rainforest stay!
My sister in law from the UK and I had an absolutely wonderful two night stay at Raintree. We are both nature lovers, and adored the view of the beautiful rain forest escarpment under the mountain. Even saw a Wollemine Pine tree which was a bonus! We watched the mohair goats being fed, played with the gorgeous cattle dogs, Duke & Forest and wallowed in luxurious splendour in our large beautifully appointed two bedroom apartment. The facilities were 6 star! Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful and gave us lots of information on the environment which we loved! Our only piece of advice is to contact the owners first if you are driving there and it has been raining. They will assist with your arrival as the country roads may be flooding.

We had a wonderful stay at the Raintree. Cheryl and Russell were so welcoming. The food was delicious, homemade and so fresh. The accommodation was clean and so comfortable. The bath was amazing and the main lounge was so comfortable we did want to go out at all. Thank you so much Cheryl and Russell, we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time staying at the Raintree retreat and would definitely recommend it. Cheryl provided excellent directions up the windy path to their peaceful home in a secluded rainforest setting on the side of the hill. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Cheryl and her two friendly dogs, Duke and Forrest. The accommodation was clean and very spacious and Cheryl provided a lovely breakfast spread of fruit, yoghurt, muesli and juice every morning. We had the wonderful feeling of "getting away from it all" with the added convenience of having both Berry and Nowra only a short drive away. All in all, a great break for us, very rejuvenating and we would definitely return next time we're in the area.

We loved our stay at Raintree. Cheryl and Russell were lovely hosts and the accommodation is 5 stars, nothing has been overlooked. The apartment was spotless with lovely personal touches and the bed was very comfortable. A delicious breakfast on the deck prepared by Cheryl watching the kookaburras amongst the rainforest was a perfect way to start the day. Thank you Cheryl and Russell (Duke &Forrest) for making us feel so at home and for sharing such a magical place.

Such a beautiful stay at Cheryl and Russell's b&b. A completely private area of the home with a beautiful private living room, bathroom and bedrooms. You can see they put a lot of thought into every aspect of the living space and their hospitality was wonderful. Could not recommend this highly enough for those looking for a private and secluded stay in the country close to Berry. 10/10!

Beautiful Property and Lovely Hosts
We thoroughly enjoyed our stayed at 'Raintree'. This property is set up on the mountain side of Berry and offers a secluded and serene environment whilst still being a short drive from the center of Berry. The house itself is immaculately clean and very cosy. The owners/hosts are very hospitable and ensured we had a lovely stayed at Berry, offering ideas for things to see/do in Berry and great recommendations for restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was delicious with homemade bread, jams, bircher muesli and fresh fruits. Would highly recommend and would stay again!

What a cracking place! We were after a quiet, warm, private space surrounded by nature, and that's what we got. Cheryl was fantastic. Great help and made us feel at home and comfortable. Highly recommended.

We received a warm welcome upon arrival with delicious homemade scones and a burning fireplace. The accommodation was in a very private wing of Cheryl and her husband Russell's home with its own access, parking and mod cons. Our stay was chilled and super comfy. Located only 10 min from Berry centre on a quiet and isolated part of the mountain side. It was made easy to find with Cheryl's directions. Cheryl and Russell ensured our stay was very private and comfortable. We could not have asked for better hosts. Cheryl's Bircher Muesli is to die for. Thank you for a lovely and relaxing stay!

The best hotel room makes you feel like you are the first guest to ever have stayed there. The best BnB makes you feel like you are part of the family. At Raintree, we had both! From the outset, this was a wonderful experience. Cheryl is just about the most lovely person on this planet. Even before we arrived we felt so incredibly welcome with information about the property, and Cheryl even went the extra mile to not only recommend local restaurants, but ring them and book us a dinner reservation! On arrival, Raintree did not fail to impress. Located in the middle of the forest, on top of a mountain, the driveway itself left us breathless. And inside - WOW!!!! This was a 5-star experience. Beautifully furnished, high quality linens, impeccably clean, spacious, there was nothing more we could have asked for. Throw in a beautiful home-made breakfast and afternoon tea and we were in heaven! When our weekend turned 'sour' with local weather conditions (a 1:40 year storm), like most of the east coast, we had been flooded in for an extra night. I couldn't think of anything better! The kindness of Cheryl and Russell to take us in for another night (at no charge no less) and to allow us to use their kitchen, was something we will never forget. Recommended for a family trip, a honeymoon, a couples getaway or for a girls weekend away......1000 stars.

We had an amazing time staying with Cheryl and Russell. They are such lovely people who have set up an awesome place to stay. Their hospitality was second to none. They were available if needed but otherwise left us to enjoy the place. They were excellent with their communication in the lead up to the stay, and even gave us some local tips which was very helpful. We were greeted with a beautiful Devonshire tea on arrival and a nice warm fire which was such a treat. The place itself is gorgeous and so peaceful being set in the rainforest. It was everything we wanted for a quiet weekend stay. The photos don't quite do this place justice. The beds were extremely comfortable and luxurious. The place was spotlessly clean and was very homely. Cheryl had thought of everything and there were lots of nice touches like bath salts, body lotions and robes for us to use which was lovely. The breakfast was also outstanding with fresh fruit, home-made bread, local jams and home-made muesli. Delicious! We had a wonderful stay and we can't thank Cheryl and Russell enough for a lovely weekend.

We couldn't have enjoyed our long weekend at Cheryl and Russell's B&B more! The accommodation is a separate wing of their home, nestled amongst the tree tops 15 minutes out of Berry. The rooms are large, spotless, sun filled and extremely comfortable with a homely country feel. Cheryl greeted us with scones on arrival, and checked-in daily in regard to an appropriate time for her to drop in breakfast requirements in the morning, and otherwise left us be. We spent our days taking in the views of Kangaroo Valley and enjoying delicious meals in and around Berry. We enjoyed coming home at the end of each day to a log fire, a wine and AusStar on tv. A really luxurious getaway and B&B experience.
